Redemption High Rye Bourbon is a high-rye bourbon with a mash bill of 60% corn, 36% rye and 4% malted barley. It was distilled at MGP's Ross & Squibb Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, aged in new charred American oak and bottled in Frankfort, Kentucky, at 46%, non-chill filtered.
The nose shows corn, vanilla, dried fruit and nutmeg. Corn and caramel run through the palate with a firm rye spice and a note of char, and the finish is medium-long and spicy, with vanilla and caramel over dry rye heat.
