Redemption Straight Bourbon is made in Indiana and bottled at 44% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
Its mash bill contains 21% rye, which gives a light hint of spice and a gently rye-led character.
The nose combines caramel and a touch of spice with over-ripe banana. On the palate there is toffee, kola nut and baking spice, with anise and black pepper behind them. The finish balances sweet corn against cracked pepper.
