Redemption The Ancients 18 Year is an American bourbon aged for 18 years, released in the brand's Ancients series of very old bourbon stocks. It comes in a decanter-style bottle with understated labelling, in a 750ml size. The series is built around historic barrels bottled at full maturity, aiming for deep oak character balanced by sweetness and spice rather than heavy extraction. The nose is polished oak, dark caramel, vanilla bean, leather and toasted sugar. The palate layers toffee, molasses, dried fruit, baking spice and seasoned oak, and the finish is long and warming, with vanilla, soft spice and old oak.
