Redwood Empire – Grizzly Beast Bourbon Bottled in Bond Batch 002

Redwood Empire Grizzly Beast is a bourbon from a single season and a single distillery, bottled in bond under the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. This is Batch 002. The mash bill is 68% corn, 20% rye, 5% wheat, 5% barley and 2% triticale. It was aged in the temperate climate of the Northern California coast, and the only addition to the distillate was water from the Russian River Valley aquifer. The name joins two trees: the Grizzly Giant, a giant sequoia in Yosemite National Park, and the Mattole Beast, a 375-foot coastal redwood in Humboldt Redwoods State Park.
