Redwood Empire – Lost Monarch Cask Strength (58.6%)

Lost Monarch is a limited edition cask strength American whiskey from Redwood Empire, bottled at 117.2 proof (58.6%). It was aged for a minimum of four years in the temperate climate of the Northern California coast. Its colour is dark amber. Redwood Empire was established in 2015 and uses water from the nearby Russian River aquifer, along with grains many of which come from California. The nose is vibrant and earthy, with mint chocolate ice cream. The palate brings warm spices and dried apricot, finishing on white pepper.
