The Colonel Armstrong is a wheated bourbon from Redwood Empire. It is named after Colonel James Armstrong, who preserved the land that became Armstrong Woods and in the 1870s gave the 440-acre parcel to his daughter Kate for $1, love and affection.
The mouthfeel is soft and rounded, with ripe stone fruit and gentle baking spice. Vanilla and honeyed grain run through the mid-palate, leading to a smooth, lingering finish with a hint of oak.
