A red wine from Veneto, made from Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso.
It has an intense ruby colour and aromas of dark berry fruit, undergrowth and a light spicy note. On the palate it has good structure, with present but well-integrated tannins, lively acidity and a savoury texture, finishing with fruity returns that balance the tannic drive.
It suits meat dishes, structured cured meats and aged cheeses, and also stews or grilled preparations.
