Refosco IGP from Vigna del Lauro is an expression of the Friulian territory, with an intense ruby colour and a rich, well-balanced structure. The nose reveals ripe red berries and spice, with blueberry and blackcurrant notes enriched by hints of vanilla and liquorice. On the palate the attack is vigorous yet harmonious, with soft tannins interwoven with the wine's natural acidity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by ageing in wooden barrels. It suits robust regional dishes, mature cheeses and herb-rich dishes.
