This is a Danish rye whiskey from Reinheart, in a 50cl bottle at 45% ABV. The project grew from a shared idea between Henrik Hammer and his friends Kristian and Terkel: a rye-based whiskey with plenty of flavour, aged in the right cask. The mash bill is 70% rye, 20% maize and 10% malted barley. It was aged for 6 years in virgin oak casks. This is Batch 1, put together from two to four casks.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
