Remus Babe Ruth Reserve Straight Bourbon (55.5%)

Remus Babe Ruth Reserve is a straight bourbon released through a partnership between Remus Bourbon and the Babe Ruth family. It was aged for 6 to 7 years and bottled at 111 proof (55.5%). It is made from three mash bills, a nod to Babe Ruth's number 3, and 10,624 bottles were produced, one for each of his plate appearances. The nose is brown sugar and fig. On the palate come slight mint and brown sugar, then candied pecans, a little fennel and rye spice. The finish closes on rye spice and cinnamon.
