Remus Highest Rye Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 54.5%)

Remus Highest Rye is a 6 year old straight bourbon from Ross & Squibb Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, bottled at 54.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Its mash bill of 51% corn, 39% rye and 10% malted rye holds as much rye as a bourbon can. It was launched in July 2023 as a permanent addition to the Remus Bourbon range. Master Distiller Ian Stirsman created it in honour of the distillery's 175-year rye tradition, as a tribute to rye's popularity heading into Prohibition. The nose is sweet and rich, with fruit and maple. The palate brings robust candied fruit, and the finish lingers with spicy cinnamon and saddle leather.
