The nose is candied fruit with a hint of nutmeg and saddle leather. On the palate there is candied fruit and fig jam, then oak and barrel char, mint, slight caramel, nutmeg, toffee and honey. The finish balances sweet candied fruit with leather, and lingers with sweetness and rye spice.
