Louis XIII is a Grande Champagne cognac created by Rémy Martin to mark the house's 150th anniversary. The name pays tribute to the French king.
It is a blend of 1,200 eaux-de-vie, aged from 40 to 100 years in old oak casks. It comes in a numbered crystal bottle with a fleur-de-lis stopper.
The nose is of dried flowers, sweet spices, honey and tobacco. On the palate there are layers of candied fruit, leather and chocolate.
