Rhum Habitation Velier Hampden LROK 2019 is a five-year-old rum from the Hampden distillery in Jamaica, in a 700ml bottle. It is made using traditional copper pot stills and prolonged natural fermentation. The nose shows ripe tropical fruit, citrus peel, sugar cane and hints of clove and black pepper. The palate is rich and enveloping, with a soft structure and long persistence, leading to a slightly smoky, vanilla-tinged finish. It can be enjoyed neat or with dark chocolate desserts and aged cheeses.
