Rhum Mezan Chiriqui from Panama is a rum made following traditional methods that preserve the purity and essence of sugar cane. It is aged in carefully selected oak casks.
In the glass it has an amber-gold colour. On the nose it offers vanilla, caramel and a light spice recalling nutmeg and cinnamon. On the palate it balances sweetness and intensity, with ripe fruit, toffee and a delicate woody aftertaste from ageing.
The finish is long and pleasantly persistent, leaving a warm, enveloping impression. It is best enjoyed neat at room temperature, ideally as a digestif after a refined dinner.
