Rhum Minoki Coral Finish is a Japanese rum from the Minoki distillery, presented in 70cl bottles. Part of its maturation takes place in barrels that previously held prestigious wines.
The Coral Finish refers to ageing in barrels enriched with natural coral, which gives the rum singular complexity and minerality. The nose shows vibrant exotic fruit and vanilla, with a lightly spicy background and a hint of the sea. On the palate it is soft and round, with balanced sweetness and fresh acidity, and flavours of ripe fruit, caramel and chocolate lead to a long, persistent finish where the coral minerality leaves a clean, fresh sensation.
It is suited to serving as a digestif or in high-level mixology.
