An agricole rum distilled in 2001 and matured for eight years in oak barrels. It is made by fermenting fresh sugar cane juice rather than molasses.
The palate is welcoming, with toasted caramel, vanilla and light spices, integrated with wood accents and ripe tropical fruit. The finish is long and pleasantly complex, leaving dried fruit with a light touch of tobacco and leather.
