An aged rum from San Cristobal, aged for seven years in oak casks. It has a bright amber colour with golden reflections. The nose offers vanilla and caramel, followed by tobacco and sweet spices. On the palate it is soft but complex, with dried fruit, chocolate and a marked wood presence from the long ageing. The finish is long and persistent, with a spicy aftertaste. It is suited to being enjoyed neat or with a cube of ice.
