An agricole rum from Martinique, distilled in 2001 from fresh sugar cane juice rather than molasses. It was aged in French oak casks, giving a mature aromatic profile with candied fruit, tobacco and a light touch of vanilla. The palate is structured and persistent, with an elegant, slightly spicy finish. Best enjoyed neat at room temperature.
