An aged agricole rum from the Clément distillery in Martinique, made from sugar cane juice rather than molasses and aged for six years in selected oak casks. It has an amber colour and aromas of candied fruit, toasted caramel, vanilla and exotic spices. The palate is silky and rich, with smoked wood, dark chocolate and a hint of pepper, leading to a long, pleasant finish. Best enjoyed neat as a digestif or in sophisticated cocktails.
