A Guatemalan rum aged through a solera system in casks that previously held American whisky, sherry and Pedro Ximénez. High-altitude ageing slows maturation and allows deeper, more complex flavours to develop. It has a light, bright amber colour. The nose shows caramel, vanilla, cooked fruit and a light spice. The palate is soft and balanced, with milk chocolate, sweet spices and a light oak note. The finish is long and persistent, sweet and spicy.
