Ribolla Gialla IGT Damijan Podversic

A white wine from Damijan Podversic that focuses on clear expression of the grape. The nose is clean and restrained, with white-fleshed fruit, white flowers, light citrus notes and a mineral thread supporting freshness. The palate has lively but balanced acidity, a slender structure and a pleasant persistence with fruity echoes and a light salty finish. It pairs well with seafood antipasti, shellfish, grilled fish, fresh cheeses, vegetable dishes and simple seafood cooking. Serve around 8-10 °C in a wide glass; a short stay in the cellar preserves its integrity, though it is intended mainly for freshness and relatively young drinking.
