Riesling Niederberg Helden Auslese - Thanisch

A German white wine from the Moselle, made by Thanisch. It shows an aromatic complexity with ripe fruit notes of peach, apricot and quince, balanced by a hint of minerality typical of fine German Riesling. On the palate it has an elegant sweetness harmonised with lively acidity, giving freshness and body, with a long, pleasant finish enriched by honey and candied citrus. It suits spicy Asian dishes, blue cheeses or fruit-based desserts, and is best served at about 8-10°C.
