Riesling Sekt Geheimrat J Brut - Weinguter Wegeler

A German sparkling wine made from Riesling by Weinguter Wegeler, from vineyards in the Rhine Valley. It is made by the classic method and shows a bright straw-yellow colour with golden reflections and a fine, persistent mousse. The nose brings white-fleshed fruit, white flowers, citrus and mineral notes with hints of yeast. On the palate it is lively and fresh, with creamy foam, balanced acidity and a clean, refreshing finish with citrus and minerality. Suited to an aperitif or light fish and seafood dishes.
