Righ Seumas II Batch 3 2008 - 10 y.o. - Murray McDavid (70cl, 50%)

Righ Seumas II Batch 3 is a ten-year-old blended Scotch from whiskies distilled in 2008 across several Scottish regions. It contains 70% single malt and 30% grain whisky, with malt from Bruichladdich, Arran, Tobermory, Auchentoshan and Old Rhosdhu and grain from North British and Invergordon. The components first matured in bourbon hogsheads before a finish in sherry and wine hogsheads. Murray McDavid bottled it in 2019 at 50% from two casks, with an outturn of 914 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. Red fruit, grilled lime and candied fruit appear on the nose, charred oak and smoked nuts with fennel on the palate, and grain, espresso and brown sugar on the finish.
