A Brunello di Montalcino from Tenuta Caparzo, made from Sangiovese Grosso and regarded as the estate's second wine.
The wine is aged for three years in large Slavonian and French oak casks of 50-80 hl, then for a further 12 months in bottle before release.
It has Brunello's deep ruby colour, a soft rounded character, fruit and elegance, with depth and concentration. Typical Caparzo notes of pepper, cherry and marzipan appear, with wild berries on the finish.
