A Barolo from Cascina Chicco with a deep, bright ruby colour. The nose opens on ripe small red fruits, delicate floral notes and a hint of sweet spice, held by an underlying earthy note. Tannins are present but well integrated, giving structure without excessive aggression, while acidity keeps the palate fresh. It pairs well with red meat, roasts, aged cheeses, mushroom dishes and savoury sauces, and is best served in a wide glass at around 16-18 C after a little aeration.
