Rod & Hammer's Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a two-year-old bourbon in a 750ml bottle at 45% ABV, aged in new American white oak barrels.
The mash bill is 60% corn, 36% rye and 4% barley. It won silver medals at the 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and USA Spirits Ratings, and the word California is embossed in the glass of the bottle.
The nose is sweet and smoky, with caramelised sugar and toasted oak. The palate offers caramel and vanilla with gentle oak and a subtle rye spiciness. The finish is clean and smooth, with lingering corn sweetness.
