Roe & Co Irish Whiskey (75cl)

Roe & Co is a blended Irish whiskey in a 750ml bottle, made from malt and grain whiskies matured exclusively in bourbon casks, a high proportion of them first-fill. It is bottled non-chill filtered. The blend was developed over two years by Diageo master blender Caroline Martin with five Dublin bartenders, who tasted more than 100 prototypes. The name honours George Roe, a 19th-century Dublin whiskey maker. Tasting notes describe a light, floral nose of rose petals, lemon custard and berries. The palate is creamy and slightly tart, with lemon pepper, pineapple, clove and honey, and the finish is long, with spice, dried flowers, peaches and apricots.
