Roero Arneis DOCG Val Di Tana Fontanafredda

A white wine from the Roero hills, made exclusively from Arneis. The clay-limestone soils give minerality and freshness. It has a bright straw colour, with intense yet delicate aromas of white flowers, white-fleshed fruit such as pear and apple, and fresh almond notes typical of the grape. The palate is balanced and soft, supported by good acidity that gives vivacity and aromatic persistence. Ageing is mainly in steel. It suits fish, shellfish, grilled vegetables and fresh cheeses, and works as an aperitif.
