A red wine from Romagna, made from Sangiovese by Dal Fiume. It shows a bright ruby red colour with violet reflections as it matures. The nose offers cherry, plum, black pepper and tobacco, with oak ageing adding depth without overpowering the fruit. On the palate it is structured and balanced, with Sangiovese acidity, soft integrated tannins and a full, enveloping mouthfeel. The finish is persistent, returning to fruity and spicy notes. Serve at about 18°C. It can be kept for some years, developing further complexity and harmony.
