Romana Sambuca (40%)

Romana Sambuca is an Italian anise liqueur made by the Molinari family. It is based on neutral grain spirit, infused and macerated with star anise, elderflower and other aromatic herbs. It can be served neat, over ice, or lit with coffee beans in the classic con la mosca style. The nose is intense star anise and liquorice with subtle floral notes. The palate is sweet and smooth, with anise, vanilla and a hint of citrus zest. The finish is long, warming and sweet, with lingering herbal spice.
