Rooster Rojo Reposado Tequila (70cl)

A reposado tequila made exclusively from blue Weber agave grown in the fertile highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. It is aged for at least two months in American oak barrels, which gives it an elegant, enveloping aromatic complexity. On the nose there are notes of vanilla, caramel and delicate spices, together with a fresh citrus note typical of agave. On the palate it is soft, with toasted wood and a touch of honey, leading to a velvety, persistent finish. Best sipped neat, perhaps with an ice cube, or used in classic cocktails such as the Margarita.
