Rosebank – 1979 20 Year Old Rare Malts Selection Cask Strength (70cl, 60.3%)

Rosebank 1979 is a 20 year old Lowland single malt from the now silent Rosebank distillery, released in the Rare Malts Selection by United Distillers. It was distilled in 1979 and bottled in 1999 at 60.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The nose is bright green apple and pear with dried apricots. On the palate come stone fruits, creamy vanilla and a hint of cardamom, and the finish is honeyed citrus with a gentle white pepper note.
