This is a Rosebank single malt from the Lowlands, distilled in 1979 and matured for 20 years. It was released in Diageo's Rare Malts Selection at a natural cask strength of 60.3% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
Rosebank closed in 1993 and is known for triple distillation. This bottling is natural colour and non-chill filtered.
The tasting character is floral, with citrus fruits, honeyed sweetness, fresh malt and delicate oak spice.
