A 32 year old Lowland single malt from Rosebank, the distillery on the Forth & Clyde canal just west of Falkirk. James Rankine, a local wine merchant, founded Rosebank in 1840, and within forty years his family was shipping whisky to Australia. The distillery closed in 1993, and copper thieves destroyed its stills in 2008. Ian Macleod Distillers rescued it in 2017, and a new distillery has since been built to bring Rosebank back into family hands.
