Roseisle 12 Year Old is the 2023 Special Release from the Speyside distillery, a single malt in a 70cl bottle at 56.5%. It forms part of Diageo's 2023 Special Releases and was matured in a combination of refill American oak and European oak casks.
The nose offers honeycomb, green apples and toasted barley, with shortbread sweetness, warm malt and a clean cereal note. On the palate, orchard fruits, vanilla fudge and a hint of oak spice sit alongside a creamy texture, citrus peel and barley sugar. The finish is medium to long and crisp, with malt, gentle spice and a touch of green apple.
