A 12-year-old Speyside single malt from Roseisle, released as Origami Kite 2 in the Special Releases 2024 collection. It is bottled at 55.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in refill and ex-bourbon American oak casks.
The nose is mild and faintly vinous, with a slight tartness of unripe redcurrants that softens into creamy vanilla fudge. On the palate it is soft, creamy and sweet, with vanilla icing and vanilla ice cream balanced by a fruity spiciness. The finish is quite long, sweet and lightly spicy, with a controlled peppery warmth.
