This is a 12 year old Speyside single malt from Roseisle, bottled at 56.5% as a 2023 Special Release called The Origami Kite. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks and refill casks.
The nose is mellow and lush, with light vanilla sponge and butter icing, a touch of molasses and some cereal, and ripe peach and white chocolate beneath. The palate is creamy and sweet, with vanilla icing, a deep fruitiness and a spicier note. The finish is long, richly sweet and lightly spicy, with a touch of white pepper.
