Deep ruby in colour, it offers ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, with subtle spicy notes and a light touch of vanilla from balanced ageing in barrique. Robust and well structured on the palate, with soft but persistent tannins, pleasant freshness and long aromatic persistence. It suits red meats, game and aged cheeses.
