A red wine from the Maremma hills, based mainly on Sangiovese and aged in oak barrels.
It has an intense ruby colour with violet reflections, and aromas of ripe red fruit such as cherry and plum, with delicate spicy notes and balsamic hints. The palate is balanced, soft and dynamic, with fine, persistent tannins.
It suits grilled meats and aged cheeses.
