A red wine from Banfi's Poggio alle Mura, made exclusively from Sangiovese grown on the hills of Montalcino. It is aged for a limited period in oak barrels, adding delicate spicy notes without masking the fruit. The nose shows cherry, small red berries, spices and aromatic herbs. The palate is immediate, with good acidity and soft tannins, making it easy to pair. It suits light meat dishes, legume soups or fresh cheeses.
