A Rosso di Montalcino DOC from Tenuta Maselli, made in one of Tuscany's best-known areas for Sangiovese grosso.
Careful vinification preserves the fruit's aromatic intensity and the character of the Montalcino territory. Ageing, often in medium-toasted oak barrels, gives balanced structure, soft tannins and lively acidity.
The nose shows ripe cherry, plum and light spicy notes. On the palate it is harmonious between freshness and softness, with a pleasantly persistent finish.
