Rosso di Orma is a red wine from Tenuta Sette Ponti in Tuscany, made from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. It is an IGT (Indicazione Geografica Tipica) wine, produced with sustainable viticulture. The colour is deep ruby red. The bouquet offers ripe red fruits, sweet spices, aromatic herbs and earthy minerals. On the palate it is layered, with lively acidity, soft tannins and a full body, with notes of cassis, plum and chocolate alongside vanilla and toast from ageing in French oak barriques. It suits red meat and aged cheese. Serve at about 18°C and decant for at least one hour.
