Rosso IGT Petit Verdot Casale Del Giglio

A red wine made from Petit Verdot and classified IGT. It shows an intense, deep colour typical of the variety, with aromas of ripe dark fruit, balsamic notes and gentle spice. The palate is solid, with firm but well-integrated tannins and freshness that carries the finish. Purple tones are accompanied by light herbaceous hints. It suits red meats and aged cheeses, and can also accompany mushroom dishes or rich sauces. Serve at a moderate temperature in a large glass. It may be cellared for a period of rest or enjoyed now while expressive.
