Rosso Piceno Saladini (3L)

Rosso Piceno from Saladini is a red wine from the Marche region, made mainly from Montepulciano and Sangiovese. It is offered in a 3-litre bag-in-box, which helps preserve the wine after opening and uses fewer materials than glass bottles. Vinification aims to preserve the fruity, fresh character of the grapes, giving a red wine with a balance of acidity and soft tannins. On the nose there are intense red fruit aromas of cherry and plum, with subtle spicy notes. On the palate it is round and pleasantly structured, with mature fruit, aromatic herbs and a touch of vanilla from careful use of wood during ageing.
