Rosso Piceno Superiore DOC Villa Imperium

A red wine of good structure and character, balancing fruit with tannic substance. On the nose it shows ripe red fruit, light spicy hints and delicate floral nuances, with medium-high but well-balanced intensity. On the palate it has body, present but polished tannins and a fresh progression with a savoury, pleasant development. It pairs naturally with cured meats, lightly prepared red meats and aged cheeses. Serve at around 16-18 C and let it breathe briefly to bring out the aromas.
