Rosso Sicilia DOC Terre del Sommacco Mandrarossa

A red wine from Sicily, made from a blend of native and international grape varieties grown on the sunlit hills of western Sicily. Ageing in oak barrels adds spice, vanilla and light notes of ripe red fruit. On the nose it is elegant and enveloping, with cherry, plum and pleasant spice. On the palate it shows freshness, soft tannins and a long, persistent finish. It suits Mediterranean dishes such as roast meats, aged cheeses and savoury first courses.
