A traditional-style red wine centred on balance and easy drinking. Compact ruby in colour, it opens on the nose with ripe red fruit, light sweet spice nuances and a hint of earthy notes. On the palate it is harmonious, with moderate structure, smooth tannins and freshness that supports the sip without overpowering. The progression is linear, with fruity returns and a pleasantly dry close. It suits everyday Italian dishes such as ragu pasta, flavourful white meats, cured meats and medium-aged cheeses. Serve slightly cooler than room temperature in wide glasses to favour aromatic expression.
