Rossville Union Master Crafted Private Selection Single Barrel Straight Rye Whiskey (75cl, 56.6%)

Rossville Union Master Crafted is a single barrel straight rye whiskey, bottled at 56.6% in a 75cl bottle. The mash bill is 51% rye and 49% malted barley, and the whiskey has a deep amber colour. The nose opens with pumpernickel and rye bread, then honey and an unusual note of Kosher pickle, with salt, dill and garlic. On the palate, pepper leads, with dill and cilantro underneath, before honey and a touch of cardamom appear mid-palate. The finish carries a gentle burn and a hot honey character.
